Since 2009, we’ve been dedicated to preserving the magic of vintage photobooths — mechanical marvels that capture moments in real time, on real film. We revived the Autophoto name to honor the legacy of the original manufacturer, who once distributed booths worldwide.
What began as a passion project has grown into a national mission fueled by craft, curiosity, and a love for analog photography. Proudly women-run, we don’t just restore booths; we reclaim a rare art form — mastering mechanics, chemistry, and the hunt for scarce parts to keep these few surviving machines alive.
With fewer than 200 working photobooths left worldwide, we believe it takes a community of owners, technicians, and fans to keep this tactile, timeless art form alive and accessible to everyone. That’s why we actively collaborate—sharing knowledge, sourcing rare parts, and supporting one another—to ensure the legacy of photobooths continues for generations to come.
