AUTOPHOTO HALLOWEEN PHOTOBOOTH CONTEST TERMS & CONDITIONS

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.
A purchase will not increase your chances of winning. This contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.

 

1. SPONSOR

This contest is organized by Say Bre Photography LLC, doing business as AUTOPHOTO (“Sponsor”), located in New York, NY. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Instagram.

 

2. ELIGIBILITY

The contest is open to individuals of all ages who are legal residents of the United States.
Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian submit the entry on their behalf. The parent or guardian will be considered the official entrant.

Employees, contractors, affiliates of Say Bre Photography LLC, and members of their immediate families or households are not eligible to participate.

 

3. CONTEST PERIOD

Entries will be accepted starting October 1, 2025 at 12:00 AM Pacific Time and ending October 31, 2025 at 11:59 PM Pacific Time (“Contest Period”). Entries submitted before or after this period will not be eligible.

 

4. HOW TO ENTER

To enter the contest:

1. Follow @autophoto on Instagram.
    

2. Visit any photobooth — either at AUTOPHOTO in NYC or any booth listed at photobooth.net/locations.
    

3. Take a photo of yourself in costume either inside a photobooth or in front of one.
    

   • You may take a photo in front of a photobooth (this is a free way to enter).
      

   • Or, you may use a photobooth to take your photos in costume.
      

4. Post your photo or photostrip to your public Instagram feed.
    

5. Tag @autophoto and include the hashtag #AutophotoHalloween in your caption.
    

Limit one entry per person. Additional posts by the same participant will not increase your chances of winning.

Entries must comply with Instagram’s Terms of Use and Community Guidelines. Posts that are incomplete, not publicly visible, contain offensive or infringing content, or are otherwise in violation of these rules will be disqualified.

 

5. SELECTION OF WINNERS

All eligible entries will be reviewed by a panel of judges selected by the Sponsor.
Entries will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

• Creativity and originality of costume (50%)
   

• Photo composition and presentation, whether a photostrip or an external photo (50%)
   

The judges will select two (2) winners:

• Best Costume
   

• Best Photo or Photostrip Composition
   

Judging will take place within seven (7) days after the contest ends. The decisions of the judges are final and binding.

 

6. PRIZES

Two (2) winners will each receive:

• $150 (USD) cash prize
   

• One (1) Photobooth Passport and one (1) NYC Analog Photobooth Map (combined retail value $70)
   

Approximate total value per winner: $220 USD.

Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no substitution will be made except at the Sponsor’s discretion. Winners are responsible for any and all taxes associated with receipt of the prize.

 

7. WINNER NOTIFICATION

Winners will be notified via Instagram Direct Message from @autophoto within seven (7) days of judging.
Winners (or a parent/guardian for minors) must respond within five (5) days to claim their prize.
If a winner cannot be contacted or fails to respond within the specified period, the Sponsor may select an alternate winner.

 

8. RIGHTS GRANTED BY ENTRANTS

By entering, participants (and parents/guardians of minors) grant Say Bre Photography LLC dba AUTOPHOTO permission to repost, share, and use their submitted photos, usernames, and likeness in promotional materials, social media, and other marketing channels related to the contest, without additional compensation.
Entrants retain ownership of their photos.

 

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

By participating, entrants (and parents/guardians of minors) agree to release and hold harmless Say Bre Photography LLC dba AUTOPHOTO and Instagram from any and all liability, injury, loss, or damage of any kind arising from participation in this contest or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.

 

10. GENERAL CONDITIONS

Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the contest if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the contest, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.

 

11. GOVERNING LAW

This contest is governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

 

12. PRIVACY

Information collected from entrants is subject to Sponsor’s privacy policy, available at autophoto.org/privacy.
